WHAT IS A CUMV
For mines dealing with tight headings, ventilation pressure, and too many support units underground, a Compact Underground Multi-Function Utility Vehicle (CUMV) offers a way to do more work with less fleet.
A CUMV is a compact, underground-certified utility vehicle designed to safely handle several recurring support tasks with one machine in low backs and tight drives. Instead of sending multiple single-purpose units for lifting, positioning, installs, and light service work, a CUMV is configured so that pattern of work can stay on one capable platform.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT BOOTH 7009N
At the booth you can stand next to the full-size MineReach and see its true height and width, and assess how it fits your headings. You’ll be able to look closely at the boom, rear configuration, and service access with our team beside you to explain why it’s built that way.
We can talk through how one compact platform can take on work that currently needs two or three different units and what that could mean for traffic, maintenance load, and ventilation when fewer machines are doing the same jobs. You’ll also meet TES people who design, build, and rebuild underground equipment, not just sell it.
