Our SPARTA Underground Boom Trucks are engineered for high mobility, allowing operators to quickly and safely navigate the demanding conditions of underground mines. Built on a heavy-duty articulated frame with a robust deck capacity of 24,000 pounds, the SPARTA Boom Truck delivers exceptional lifting power and reliability. Featuring the PALFINGER PK 11.001 SLD1 crane, one of the most economical and innovative lifting solutions in the industry—the unit offers a lifting capacity of 5,700 kg (12,520 lbs) and a hydraulic outreach of 12 meters (39′ 6″), ensuring enhanced productivity and precise material handling in tight underground environments.
UNDERGROUND BOOM TRUCK FEATURES
The SPARTA Boom Truck is built with a heavy-duty construction frame and features a Volvo Tier 3 engine paired with a DANA 32000 series transmission for dependable underground performance. It has a deck length of 3.66 meters (144″), a deck width of 2.44 meters (96″), and a deck capacity of 10,866 kg (24,000 lbs). The unit’s compact tramming height of 2.54 meters (100″), four-wheel drive, and articulated steer carrier ensure exceptional maneuverability. Additional features include SAHR axles, ABA brake system, audio backup alarm, LED lighting, white strobe light, 24V electrical system with master switch lockout, boom stabilizers, and ROPS/FOPS canopy. Safety is further supported with a certified ANSUL 4-nozzle fire suppression system and a 20 lb fire extinguisher.
