UNDERGROUND WATER TRUCK FEATURES
The SPARTA UWT Underground Water Truck is powered by a Volvo Tier 3 engine producing 215 horsepower, paired with a DANA 32000 series transmission and Spring-Applied Hydraulic Release (SAHR) axles for superior control and braking. Built on a heavy-duty articulated frame with four-wheel drive, the unit offers a tramming height of 2.54 metres, width of 2.46 metres, and length of 8.05 metres, with turning radii of 6.1 metres (inside) and 9.2 metres (outside). It has an empty weight of 13,000 kilograms (28,660 pounds) and carries an approximately 1,000-gallon water tank with a pressurized delivery system. Standard safety and operational features include a 24-volt electrical system, ABA brake system, audio backup alarm, LED lighting with white strobe, engine oil pressure monitoring, and master switch lockout. The truck also includes a ROPS/FOPS canopy, certified ANSUL four-nozzle fire suppression system, and a fire extinguisher.
